The bldg. is almost complete because I saw aircons being installed. Anyway since we're all in need of employment I know one
government hospital in need of 120 nurses.
The bldg.is in the middle of construction. and if I were to be asked the probability of it being finished is by the middle of the year (accdg. to my prediction of course). The hospital is expanding primarily to earn. All I can do now is hope and pray to Providence for my employment for this year. I'm tired of paying for my trainings and it's about time the situation gets reversed.

To all those who wish to be in mary johnston hospital:

I am a former trainee, orientee and reliever at the said hospital and let me share you my experience,

I started as a trainee at the medical intensive care unit for 3 mos, then after that i passed the pre employment exam ( nursing and psychological exam.) Remember that If you are a trainee in this institution it doesnt mean that its is your edge! because some of my co-trainees failed the exam. I am just lucky i hit the right bird! hehe

after passing the exam, you will be schedule for final interview ( panel type)....

If you pass the interview then congrats! you will be a orientee for the different areas in the hospital. It would last for 1 mos. Only..

After orientee you will have you pre employment medical exam which cost 1600 php.

If you have FIT TO WORK remarks then you will be a RELIEVER or ON CALL for 3-6 months.

If you pass there evaluation you will be CONTRACTUAL for minimum of 6 MOS. or more it all depends on your performance

After 6 MOS or more you will be a PROBITIONARY for 6 Mos- this is the start of your CERTIFICATE of employment .......

AFTER 6 MOS they may absorb you as STAFF nurse Or GOODBYE :)

this is the hiring process of MJH....

Goodluck to all apirants,

As for me I didnt persue my RELIEVER status for 6 mos...... I am planning to be trained at MADOCS this april..

:)

Happy JOB hunting to all of us ...

Yeah me too!!.. I'm interested to be trained in Madocs.. how come they are still entertaining trainees since they have been in 'freeze hiring" status since last year?? I am keenly interested as to how are you able to penetrate that Hospital though it is very impossible to just get in right away... share your tips as many nurses are in very dire need for hospital employment which will not abuse the situation.
