yea. For me it took almost two weeks for me to get an official offer from HR...the managers I interviewed with had told me the same thing about wanting me to work there..it felt like forever cuz I wanted it officially. But HR never returned emails..ugh. The manager was very helpful, but she has nothing to do with HR..hope you hear something soon! Congrats!
Today is Officially a week since the interview and as I read my morning newspaper, there's a big article saying the hospital is laying off 51 LPNs, to hire RN's and nurses aides.
So with that article being in the newspaper today , I didn't want to contact them so soon. Maybe that is the reason noone called yet?
Otherwise I would email them, but apparently they don't have valid email addresses?
I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Last week I had an Interview at a Hospital. I met with HR, and then the Director of Nursing, Well 2 DON's of the Hospital. I felt the interview went well. DON stated that they would like to "Have me on board, and offer me a position at the hospital", pending reference checks, and background check. Either way I would hear from her early next week.
My references said they were called, including a past job reference told me they were contacted.
Do I wait for them to call me, or would it be ok if I don't hear from them by Friday, that I give a call to the HR dept to see what's up?
Thanks for any help
