Hospital hiring

Hi. For the 4th time, i went to medcity to try my luck there after going to cardinal. To my surprise, they asked for my resume and board rating unlike before that they just instruct people to write down their names on their logbook. I went there last week so maybe you can try going there too. Btw, with regards to cardinal they are now asking for a 10k training fee for 3mos. And i think stlukes is always open based on some threads here. So goodluck to us. :)

Hello. I just want to ask if you should go and pass your resume even if you enlisted your name, board rating etc. before? I mean, like you said they never asked for it before, so I am comfused if I should pass mines now, because I enlisted myself last month. And, do you have an idea on how long do an applicant have to wait to be called for an exam? Thanks. :)

Uhh. They asked for my reqs that why i gave it to them. Before they dont ask for it. They just ask me to log my info.

we have the same dilemma. I'm also looking for a job as a staff nurse. there is a new hospital at mindanao avenue, under construction but it's almost done, you might want to submit your applications there. it will be Metro North Medical Center.

do you have idea if since when did cardinal santos started collecting 10k training fee. csmc is my dream hospital. i submitted 3 applications there last year but no invitations for exam or interview. I went there last january to submit again still no news. i'll go there again next week will submit another application. im planning to submit my application every month. i wont stop until i get a response from them. just being persevere.

I think it started the week i went there. Last year i was able to took the exam but unfortunately to be able to get hired there, you should be able to hit the 80% mark and sadly i was only able to get 70-80. They didnt tell me the exact score but they said that i was eligible for a retake but i still have to wait for their text or call but that was way back june last year and when i called them earlier this month, they just told me to pass another application which i did but to my dismay they are now asking for a training fee. So there.

About Cardinal Santos, have you happen to asked about the next schedule of their pre-employment training for nurses this year 2013? That as what you've said, they are asking now for training fee.. Thank you! Hope to hear from you soon.

No because upon learning about the training fee i didnt listen to the rest of what the lady was sayin. Maybe you can try to contact them. Funny how these so called high end hospitals still ask for training fees.

when i learned in this post that they are collecting training fees, i was disappointed so i did not bother to go there anymore and according to others the waiting time at csmc is so long.

yes i did submit my application at metronorth. it is located at mindanao avenue maybe a kilometer away from veterans hospital. just submit your application to the guard and the guard will be the one responsible to give that to the hr.
