does your hospital have on-site day care(even if you don't use it) ?

ours is open 7 days/week 6 A.M-8 P.M.

the waiting time for my twins was 16 months though-as soon as I knew I was having twins until they were 6 months old.:blushkiss

I know there is one near the hospital that I will be working at, and they give discounts to the hospital employees, but it's not really on the campus (more like across the street). It's open from I think 6AM to 5PM, which is great for those 7-3 nurses, but not so great for the 7-7'ers... Hopefully when I have kids I won't need to use it!

I used to work at the hospital day care when I was in nursing school. The one I worked at was open 0545 till 1830 monday to friday. The one I floated to on the other side of town at the bigger hospital was open 0600-midnight 7 days per week and most holidays. We hadto float down there on weekends if they were short staffed.

does your have a summer program for school age children? These do.

The hospital I work at now has a daycare but it is only ope 0600-2000 or something like that and it is not on campus.

Yes, we do, but not in the hospital, but right next to it. actually, it is daycare/parking garage/hospital, all right in a row.

Daycare is part of a chain, but this one is contracted w/ the hospital, employees get a discount.

hours are 0630-1930. I dont use it, but whats the point of a hospital daycare unless they cover the 12 hour shifts?

downside being, you can't just pop in on your lunch, as its' close, but not close enough to walk there, visit and walk back in 30 minutes.

I pay $990 for two 3- year olds full-time(and that is with the sibling discount)

sorry-yes,that is monthly

I can eat lunch with them and go on field trips with them and just see them any part of the day since it is on campus..
