Hopeful for RN program Fall 2011 West Georgia Tech

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site so bare with me! I am a student at west georgia technical college and I recently turned in my application for the rn program for fall 2011 acceptance. I was going to put my grades out there and see if anyone thinks I might have a chance au getting into the program or just to talk with others competing! My grades were: 3 A's & 2 B's. I had composite score of 123 on nln (84th percentile). I'm so anxious to know! I want to get in the program so bad! please give me some feedback, thanks!!

Honestly, You need to start studying for the tease now because that's what their using next cohort. If you plan in waiting a year. If not newnan is starting their adn program in the aummer. This is the last cohort their using the NlN. If your NlN was higher then you may have a shot but if not then it really depends on how many people their taking. It's between 20-25 so it doesn't make it easy.

yea, I wish i had taken advantage of the NLN like some people! I only took it once, and OF COURSE the night i took it my child was up alll night! Its really the C i had back in the day....I just hate that now I'm going to retake college algebra to boost my GPA and take my CNA course...and prepare for TEAS...feels like a semester waste oblivion in my life for the fall

I haven't gotten my letter yet, but my mail doesn't run til 1. I have already taken the TEAS and am taking it again in aug. it's much harder than the NLN. National average is 64. I made a 72 on it and a 92 on the nln!

Ok. Check with the school to see how their calculating their points for the tEASe. I'm in the program so I'm not sure how their doing that. Best of luck to you.

Finally got my letter today. I only got 88.11 points toward selection! I have 5 B's and 2 A's 92 on the NLN. I probably won't get in with that score!

I'm excited for you. Be ready to study hard and long. I'm in the progt now and it's lots of hard work. What's your name so I can look for you during orientation? I will be there to answer questions for the incoming class.
