Hopeful for RN program Fall 2011 West Georgia Tech

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site so bare with me! I am a student at west georgia technical college and I recently turned in my application for the rn program for fall 2011 acceptance. I was going to put my grades out there and see if anyone thinks I might have a chance au getting into the program or just to talk with others competing! My grades were: 3 A's & 2 B's. I had composite score of 123 on nln (84th percentile). I'm so anxious to know! I want to get in the program so bad! please give me some feedback, thanks!!

I am not sure when those will go out. Does the LPN program have interviews first? Have you gotten to that step yet? As of today, I have not heard anything about an interview.

No we don't have an interview process. I know that registration for fall quarter starts May 9, so I was wondering if we will be told before then. I am on pins and needles. The LPN program competitive selection grades are 50% academic and 50% PSB exam. I have a 4.0 GPA but I dont think I did very well on the PSB. I got a 31 on it and I am hoping I didnt blow it. They are only excepting 20 students from each of the 3 campuses so it is going to be extremely close. Please keep your fingers crossed for me.

Whats the highest you can get on the PSB? Dont be discouaraged. They should be letting you all know by next week since registration is May 9th. Keep us posted.

Has anyone received an interview letter yet from WGTC for the Fall RN 2011 program? I am still anxiously waiting. I too have been stalking my mailman and just recently came across your thread.

We are still waiting...Should be any day now. I was told by someone who applied at the Lagrange campus that the letters went out yesterday. I dindt get anything today, maybe tomorrow. What campus did you apply for?

I applied at the Murphy campus. That's good to know that the letters went out yesterday for the Lagrange campus. Which campus did you apply for?

Hello all, I received my letter TODAY!!!! I am excited and nervous at the same time. I am an older student 41 to be exact. I score 96 on NLN 1C in math and the rest A's. I am currently taking Micro and Psy 2103. Anyone else receive their letter today? Anyone have insight into possible interview questions? I am applying to the LaGrange campus by the way. Best of luck to us all :yeah:

My letter for the LPN Program is at the house. I will be there to get it shortly. I will let you know the outcome. The waiting is killing me.

I also received my letter, and my preinterview score is 70.0. I applied for the Murphy campus and I am nervous as well. What day and time is your interview? Is your interview at the Murphy or LaGrange campus?

I interviewed at Lagrange on the 12th. Now we wait. Have you interviewed yet and how did you do? I was nervous but I feel good.
