Hello all! I am in the process of applying to Georgia Highlands Fall 2012 Nursing program. I am wondering if anyone else is in the same boat? I have all A's and B's in all of pre reqs, 2 Bs and an A in the sciences, which makes me nervous. I also didn't do that well on the TEAS. I got an 81, but did extremely well in the science part of it. I had an 1050 on my SAT'S from back in 2002. I did the worksheet total that they have online, and my score was an 1131. I am wondering if this is enough? But the worksheet does not include the TEAS calculation.
Any info or comments would be great! I just want to know where I stand
I emailed Hope Weaver and got the same response so I won't be stalking my mailbox quite yet. She also said that they were aware that the admissions office was overloaded and running behind and that it would not affect my status! Yay! Can't wait until next week.
HEY!!!!! I went on highlands website and logged into SCORE. I went to Student Services --> Registration--> Check your registration status and this is what it says: Will you all please check yours to see if ours all says the same thing? My friend's says the same thing, but it lists Cartersville as her campus. We're trying to see if there are any variations so we can tell if this stuff actually means anything!
Mine says the same thing except it says Floyd campus and and admit term and catalog term still says Spring 2012 because they want an updated transcript. I don't know if it means anything at all. When it says Associate Science Nursing under current program it kind of makes you wonder though. Hopefully the waiting will be over soon!
HOPEFUL616, did you request Marietta as your preference campus? Likewise JENNIFERB did you request Floyd? Mine is saying the same stuff with Floyd listed but wondering if that is the only reason why before I get my hopes up! ;-)
I'm curious, did any of you ladies get an email or letter stating your application had been received, etc.? I did get one from CTC but not Highlands. I called and verbally verified in the spring but having it in writing sure is nice. Ha!
I did request Marietta but wrote beside it that I would go wherever there was a spot. I did not get a letter but did call and was told verbally that my application had been received.
Okay same here. Although I would like to I'm not going to read too much into it then. Oh and mine still lists spring 2012 too. Guess I need to call and find out why.
Glad to see I'm not the only one freaking out about GA Fall 2012 acceptance. I applied and have a good score but still so nervous. Hope you all get in!!

Well I just got an email from Hope Weaver that letters won't be sent out til next week. Why can't everyone get their stories straight??? haha
