If a patient is in the ER over 24 hours, and is not admitted as inpatient, do you need to do a transfer and resumption Oasis when they return back home?

I have always been told that no, as long as they are not inpatient a ROC is not needed. I'm unsure if there are different state regulations there, though.

I would recommend that you clarify this with your agency.

It depends on your agency and what they want you to do, but you wouldn't need a return of care if they weren't admitted into the hospital.
