I posted this earlier but somehow it disappeard..

Anyways, I am going to start my 5 week CNA classes in 2 weeks, & wanted to start looking for a new job.

I read somewhere on here (I dont even know if Im describing the names of these jobs right so correct me if Im wrong) that as a CNA you can work at like Home health where you go to the peoples houses, or with an agency and get paid more than you would at a hospital or LTC facility. Can someone please explain to me what those two things are, and if they hire new CNA's & what they pay? ..

I do want to be a CNA to get experience before NS, but I have to make a certain amount of money to maintian my bills, & hospitals, from what I have seen, pay the least ...

Any advice would be appreciated!!

There are agencys that may give you a one day training to work as a home health aide, and you would go to the client's home to care for them...and I do think that CNAs get paid a bit more to work in facilities but, am not sure. It may help if you take an additional course in phlebotomy and EKG to further assist you. Nursing school can be very expensive, and you may have to inquire about financial aid. Tuition, uniforms, dues and books alone can place you in the red with bills if you aren't careful.
