Lol, old lady! I started my pre-req's in 2006 and started nursing school in 2010 (age 38) so I guess I am in that boat too!

Good luck with your nursing studies, and we are NOT old just perfectly seasoned :D

Thank you. It would be wonderful to connect with people who are ahead of me. Can you tell me more about your situation? Were you able to complete all pre-req's prior to your application? Did you get all A's? The advisor who enrolled me really spooked me. She told me even though I should have 6 of the classes done when I apply that I have zero chance of getting in. Makes it difficult to get my head in the game. :confused:

I would love to hear about your story also. I am desperate to find a story about someone who didn't have all the pre-req's done and still got into nursing. I am looking to change careers as soon as possible. Also not sure what classes you would take to defer paying loans when you are done with all pre-req's and still not accepted.

Passed my math placement test :yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah:. So I got to drop math 095 and pick up nutrition. Tell me it is possible to take all these at once and do well if I apply myself. PSY 110, NTR 101, BIO 103 and ENG 101. All classes are online and bio is brick and click. Can it be done???

Hi, Can you tell me your thoughts on the curriculum at HCC for nursing? Did you have a full schedule or just some classes as well as clinicals? any information will help. Thanks

Anyone applying to Holyoke in 2020 or currently attending? I would love to hear what your experience is like. I do not see many threads about Holyoke. I am applying but have A&P II and Micro left to take.

I also applied to HCC'ss nursing programs (LPN &RN) just got my acceptance letter the the LPN program starting fall 2020!
