Hey~! I just got my letter yesterday; I saw the email right before bed, and I was so excited I just could not sleep. haha I'm in the LPN-RN track as well, so it looks like we'll be in the same classes! ☺️

That makes 3 I got accepted into the Fall 2023 Lpn to RN as well!! I'm super excited. Also I asked in another posting about the progress : Read Below
" hey! second semester here :), LPN-RN first semester is shorter than the first semester for RNs and it is not graded its more of a fresher from what I heard (LPNS join with RNs in the second semester of the program). I will say that they just throw LPNs in with the rest of us with no training on how to use the exam software or how to do patient look ups for clinical so make sure you guys ask for that bc the ones in our class now had no idea. The program isn't that hard you just have to really pay attention to the powerpoints, what is being discussed in class and do practice questions. We have a resource called NurseThink and the professors use questions from there on the exams. Sometimes on the exams they will accept more than one answer so your grade may boost when they post the grades..nobody reads the textbooks.. as far as clinicals for LPN-RN you won't have clinicals your first semester. Second semester you start clinicals the first or second week of class and its two days at the hospital. You get your patient assignment the day before clincal. Some days you will be at the school on one or both days to learn skills. Second semester you will be passing medication. Start learning weight based dosage calculations!! You must pass a math exam on weight based calculations with 100% to begin passing meds(they say you have 3 attempts but if you don't pass the second time they will just sit you down and help you solve the problems LOL) We also have simulation labs at the hospital. Start learning how to do a head-to-toe assessment! You will have to pass a head-to-toe check off in simulation lab!! Let me know if you have anymore questions.
Congratulations! I'm hoping more people respond here, and we can start a group chat. I'm copying the idea, from somebody's post from last year ?

Unfortunately I found out about this school late so now I have to wait until next year. But in the mean time can you guys that got accepted or the ones that's in the program now keep me posted on the program. I'm really excited about starting this next chapter in my life and any guidance and tips would be greatly appreciated.
