Has anyone applied to Holy Name Hospital RN program for 2010? I took the teas March 27th and am still waiting for my results.

Eeeep I have been slacking on responding to the forum, I'm sorry!! I'm really excited that we have someone else going in with us, I'm counting down the days!! :D I have not gotten my uniforms sized yet because I am losing major weight and I don't want to swim in them and look sloppy, you know? :DI am going to go at the last minute haha!! I am in the market for a steth too, I just have tug of war going in my head about what kind I want. We have discussed meeting at a certain place at the school before orientation if you want to meet us too we can all go together :)

Omg I know its soooo close I cant wait :) and yes we all have to go together, it's def gonna be fun.

Hey Live Love,

just wanted to know if you got your letter or heard anything from them yet

Hi everyone. I know this forum is old but I was just wondering if you all know how many people Holy Name accepts? I applied and took my TEAS test March 12th. I'm anxious to get my results but nervous!!!

I am pretty sure they accept 60 students. How did you find the TEAS? We should know late spring.

Hey. I didn't think it was too bad with proper preperation. I got my results and have an interview this Monday. Did you apply for this fall as well?

Congrats on your interview!!! By the way if u get in will u be commuting?

Congrats! From what I gather, an interview is a good sign. I will prayerfully see you in the fall! As for the TEAS, did you use another guide for the science portion? I am taking my test on the 9th.

An interview is a great sign! I applied last year but was waitlisted until this fall. I guess it all depends on how many students they accept. Good luck with your test!

Thanks:) I am quite nervous but am plugging away!

I studied everything I could get my hands on for science EXCEPT tHE ati book haha because I kept hearing it wasn't good for science. The ATI book really prepares you for everything else though. Yes, if I get in I'll be commuting because I live close. I've heard it's a good sign if you get an interview as well but I'm still scared there aren't enough spots! I am happy with my TEAS score though so I'm hoping that will help me out but who knows!

I'm using the Mcgraw-Hill book for the science portion and the ATI guide for everything else. I purchased a few online tests and am making adjustments as I go along. It's quite a challenging process. Congrats on your score!

In my opinion, Mcgraw-Hill is the best to study from for the science portion. But also, don't stop there. There are many random things that it doesn't cover but the last pages of the ATI book does (hydrolic cycle, tectonics). Also, don't go too crazy with anatomy. I had maybe 5 questions on it. They tell you you'll recieve your scores online in about a week after testing but I got mine 3 days later so feel free to check sooner. GOOD LUCK!:nurse:
