Hi Future Nurses,

I applied to HFU for the 20-month Fall Cohort. I thought I applied as priority just to find out they are no longer accepting priority applications. Is anyone else applying or has gotten accepted to the program? How long is the turn around time to make a decision after the deadline? Thank you in advance ☺️

I know lol I just figured I’d ask since I was told told 2-6 weeks on 6/18. Does anyone know if people have already been accepted through an earlier deadline? Priority? Or are the spots filled with the overflow and waitlist of the full time students?

Last I spoke to the school which was on Friday there is a waitlist for fall part time. A lot of students already is accepted and have there orientation date which is in September. They all made a group on fb. I’m in it but I wasn’t accepted yet.

I submitted my complete application in May because I was pushing for the priority deadline before they made it one general deadline. I would say about a month and half.

My application had just turned to decision made when I emailed the school to ask if I should send in another transcript for a prerequisite I had just finished. I was told that I was put on the waitlist and will be notified if a spot opens up.

Are you going to stay on the waitlist or move to spring semester?

That’s awesome. You should definitely go for spring it’s only a few weeks difference!
