Hi Future Nurses,

I applied to HFU for the 20-month Fall Cohort. I thought I applied as priority just to find out they are no longer accepting priority applications. Is anyone else applying or has gotten accepted to the program? How long is the turn around time to make a decision after the deadline? Thank you in advance ☺️

I believe it’s 2-3 years. I called today again and I was notified that fall has a large waitlist. I will more than likely switch to spring to secure a spot if I’m accepted.

Such a bummer! I really hope I get accepted. I’m just not sure how my application compares to others.

Oh that’s long compared to their 15 month FT. Again, not surprised by the waitlist. They seem less strict compared to HFU pre-req wise.

I’m a little nervous to my undergrad GPA was 3.1

Yea me too! I went to their last info session and a lot of admitted students had straight A’s and 4.0’s. But I tried my luck anyway.

Same here with the GPA. I saw someone post about how your previous major didn’t mean much...kind of surprising. I don’t necessarily think that’s true at all. Lol, what were your majors for undergrad, if you don’t mind me asking?

My major for undergrad and graduate was psychology but I just stopped my grad program to change to nursing. Wbu ?
