Hello everyone,
I decided to start a thread for the Hollywood prebysterian new grad program that opened two days go and it starts on jan 27th 2025. For any updates 🙂 Does anyone know when the application close?
Still haven't heard anything from Hollywood Presbyterian other than the application received email, so I automatically assumed I got rejected LOL I didn't know they've been keeping everyone else waiting this long too! I wish their ADP HR Portal told whether our application was at least read or reviewed! I was freaking out that there's been no updates yet but I'm kinda relieved to hear that no one has heard back yet (sorry, we can all be miserably anxious together LOL!).
Side note, for those who listed ICU/ED on your application, do you already have your PALS/NIHSS/dysrhythmias/etc. certifications completed? I'm kinda worried they're gonna deny me because I don't have all certs required for the departments I listed. I have BLS, ACLS, and ARC but missing PALS, NIHSS, and basic dysrhythmia. I've heard some hospitals allow new hires a few months grace period to complete their courses, so I'm really hoping they'd let us (if I'm even selected) start residency despite some pending certifications. Like how do they expect us broke new grads to already be certified and pay for all these courses without a job! LOL

according to linkend, they had over 200 applicants and thats not counting from other sites like indeed or from their main website. Right now its still early but if you haven't heard from them by the 1stweek of January, consider moving on because it takes 2-3 weeks to do background check and with the on boarding procedures since their start date is Jan 27 2025.
I got an official offer letter for Southern California Hospital Hollywood new grad program starting Jan 6... anyone joining? I heard they hired 30 new grads working in hollywood and culver city location.

Ziprecuiter sent me an email stating the position was put on hold, but not sure how accurate this is.

I got accepted to Southern California Culver City! I went to their new grad job fair & got the offer 2 days later! What unit are you starting on?
