yes, I chosen this unit when I applied. Qs: tell me about yourself, why this unit? how did you deal with a conflict with a co worker, when you made a mistake what happen? how did you deal with a bad patient. than the 2 challenging clinical scenario questions. I was able to get their emails since their full names was displayed on teams during the meeting, I Google their names and got the email. I sent them a thank you email!

Since I have post care ICU unit, I had some tough clinical questions... I got grilled with clinical questions. They were not just 1-2 answers, they wanted to hear step by step on what I need to do. I got most of the answers right, but missed out on some steps. For example. they gave me vital signs and physical description of patient, I had to identify the issue, than what type of assessment or orders I need to carry out. But other than that, the behavioral ones were straight forward. I think they are mainly looking for new grad nurses who they feel will fit in with their team.

Yeah, out of the 65 candidates, I don't know how many they will hire. This is for all the units.... I'm sure some units like med surge will hire more nurses vs smaller units like oncology

Emails have been sent for interviews. The invited 65 people for interviews for June 25-26. It says under consideration with the unit I'm I'm inverviewing for.

I have BSN, 6 years of EMT experience , military veteran, Besides RN, I have ACLS, PALS, BLS, stoke scale. It's a tough market in California for new grads. Invest in your ACLS , I think it will give you an edge. I believe I was able to get an interview due to cedars being more veteran friendly and I very close, I share the same zip code as cedars. I also applied at 9am right after the application portal open.

I haven't checked since I got the official email from the HR manager. She sent me 2 invited.

Interviews are set for June 25-26. They sent emails out to 75 candidates already. We have an online interview test to attend on June 18 to make sure our computers will work for the interviews don't give up hope, maybe they will send out more. I got an email for Liver and Kidney transplant 6NE PCU. I know about 65 people got invited for the interview. they sent a mass email out for computer connection testing to prepare for the interview and they should had sent BCC but it was sent CC it showed everyone's email address. LOL if anyone got an email, hit me up! lets connect

I hope you get it! I already got a hired at another new grad program in LA, however scripps never called me sent me a rejection letter. I want to eventually move down to san diego in 2 years. May I ask what type of experience do you have? I have 6 years of LVN experience in the military, 2 awards for my work as LVN and a full academic scholarship to my nursing school and I still didn't get even a phone call for an interview.

I just got on the floor for 1 day.... its been mostly class training. Next week I will have a full week on the floor. so far its good. alot of SNF patients, psych homeless, and walkins. they have a pretty good new grad program structure. Classes are held in Culver City. I work in the hollywood location. they have a job fair in February...

just started orientation this week. Just been doing computer training, admin etc I go on the floor next week. Ill have a better idea on how everything is. so far its cool, my cohort is small and everyone is nice so far.
