no holiday or weekend pay?!?!

I just found out that the hospital I want to work at does offer differentials for evening and night shift but not for holiday or weekends?!?! I was just wondering how many hospitals dont pay extra for weekends or holidays??

Kriso,,,am in the same boat. Can't quite remember why I left TX. OH that's it! I went to school where they would take me without the long wait list, but am back to TX as soon as school is done. Also,, my facility does NOT pay extra for w/e (not in PTO) and on holidays you get you time and half . It bites but they inticed me with "great" tuition reimbursement, which they have refused to pay for. Guess am looking for a job now.
