We're all hearing rumblings. Is Hofstra opening a 2021 Doctorate program application? Let's share some info!

That’s really exciting!! Congratulations!

Congratulations to everyone that got in!

I’m happy this program exist  for years I wanted a program like this to exist. Nurse Practitioner and CRNA yess!

Does anyone who got into the program have any information about what’s going on? Start date, registration, any general info, where would be the best place to live etc. I feel like I’m missing something from Hofstra but maybe it’s just too early? Also would love to meet my future class! ?

Hey I guess we're classmates!  The only thing I received was the last email from Dr. Greco back in early April.

Applications are open now .

Go on their website . They are asking for a minimum of 2 years experience . Application looks pretty straight forward . it’s a combined NP and CRNA DNP program . This should be very interesting . Good luck to everyone applying . I have a while before I can apply but it will be nice to hear what the process of like from others .

It very funny I remember year ago on this website I mentioned I wanted to be an NP and CRNA there’s should be a program for that some user said that’s impossible choose a route and it stick to it . They are not the same.

Since the first application cycle is over, does anyone who got admitted care to share any tips on the application process?

I would advise going to their open house on zoom. They give a lot of pointers there.

I attended 2 of those LOL. I was just wondering if admitted people had any extra tips! Thanks for responding though

Personally, I would love to give you input. But because we haven’t officially started and wince we are the first cohort I don’t want to jeopardize my seat.  But going to the open houses more than once...they do recognize that.  Just make sure your application is perfect before submission.

Coming out of that interview....man that was interesting.  It's amazing how nerves really do come into play when your being put on the spot.  It was sure an experience....

Hello! I have an interview upcoming and was wondering if you had any advice! I have been studying my CCRN material, EKGs, and looking over case studies. I really am hoping to get it in I just hope I am on the right track with what I am studying!
