History of School Nursing

In honor of School Nurse's Day I did a quick google search into the history of school nursing. I found a free ebook "The School Nurse" by Lina Rogers Struthers, RN written in 1917. Lina Rogers was the first school nurse in the U.S.

Specializes in Community and Public Health, Addictions Nursing.

Looks like I've got my reading for the weekend picked out! I love old health books like these.

What no ice packs?? LOL, see kids don't need them! I guess mercury tablets cured a lot of things!

But this is so cool to see what they had back then!
