Hiring Process? PCT

Hello all,

I am currently going through the hiring process as a patient care tech @BJC Saint Louis Children's hospital. So today is Saturday Aug. 23rd. I initially interviewed w./ HR recruiter last thurs (aug. 14) AS WELL AS nurse assistant manager of the unit. Interview went amazing, she told me I asked great questions ect, & invited me to come in for shadowing the following Monday (aug. 18). So I did, even that went great. I know Children's Hospital is where I want to be. I also met w./ the actual nurse manager of the unit that same day. So, they tell me next steps will be through HR. The next day (aug. 19) HR recruiter sends me a link to input 5 reference email addresses & to have then respond within 24 hrs. So, I had already had my references lined up and notified so that wasn't a problem. Each of them completed the reference survey within 6 hours & it was then auto-forwarded back to HR.

Has anybody went through this process to know what comes next or how long this can take? I really want this position & this job, but it seems so drawn out. :-( pulling my hair out here you guys!!
