Hiring a new grad in Columbus Ohio? Advice

Hi,

I just graduated from a Chicago nursing program with my MSN and am looking to move to Ohio. What does a average new grad make in Ohio? What is the job out look for a new grad? What's rent?

Also are there any hospitals in Columbus hiring with sign on or relocation bonus's?

HeartNursing3, you got offered 23.56/hour to start and you have an ADN? I just got an offer from OSU to work in the James for that rate, but I am a BSN. Should I ask for more? If so, how much is fair, and how do I go about negotiating it?

Is it inpatient? Staff Nurse (BSN) starts out at $24.24. If you work in the clinic, you get $23.56 with a BSN (clinic makes less than floor nursing).

really? in my area they usually pay the same regardless of adn or bsn if they are in the same role.

Here is OSU's union contract. Salary starts at page 49.

A = associate in nursing

B = bachelor in nursing
