Hillsborough Community College - Summer 2015

Hi there! I see that there are many threads for past application periods for Hillsborough Community College but I haven't seen one yet for the Summer of 2015. I wanted to start a thread for those of us who are applying for the Summer 2015 transition program. I just turned in my application this past week. The deadline is January 15, 2015 and they say it can take 12-15 weeks to find out if we are accepted which means a LONG wait :nailbiting:. Best of luck to everyone applying and I look forward to getting to know some of you during this waiting game! Hope to talk to you soon!

Congrats. They called you instead of mailing? I am also an alternate but I haven't received word of anything.

Thank you Carvernation!!! Yes they called me Monday and said they weren't mailing bc certain things had to be in by March 30th :-/

I believe the woman's name was Mrs. Hernandez.

Oh I see. I called today and they said I'm still listed as an alternate and not denied. But I guess I'm out... :(

I received a call on Monday that I didn't know but I don't pick up those numbers. It was 727 though so I doubt it was HCC. Oh well. Best of luck to everyone.

Hi, are any of you ladies considering doing the HCC/USF (ASN to BSN) concurrent program that just started this spring?

The concurrent program sounds like something I would definitely be interested in. How does it work?

The program allows you to start the BSN program at USF while working on your associates at HCC, but I don't know if Lpn's bridging over to RN's are allowed to participate in the program.
