Hello all,
I thought I would start a thread for those of us applying to HCC's Spring 2013 nursing program. I am a Veterinary Technician/stay at home mom. I'm gathering everything for my application and hoping to drop it off at HCC soon. The deadline isn't until 6/1 but they recommend turning it in at least 30 days in advance. I'm a current HCC student. I was planning on applying for Fall this year, but am now expecting a little girl to arrive in July so spring it is! My pre-req GPA is 3.86 (all A's and 1 B), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program for DM evening classes. Good luck to all!

My $38 check was just cashed. At least I know they got the forms now. I'm hoping that my experience in veterinary medicine (mostly critical care/OR) will help me with things like calculations, meds, etc. There are a lot of parallels between human and animal medicine. So I will be concentrating mostly on AP. I had a great instructor and kept all my powerpoints. I will start reviewing those again in November. As far as the HESI what is included in it?
After I saw your post I hurried and checked my account and finally the check was cashed. I wasnt so much worried about the $50 since they get the results back to them anyway, but I feel a little better now that they got my seat confirmation! Now I cant wait for orientation! We need to start exchanging our real names so we can finally get to know each other so...Hello! My name is Jennifer, cant wait to meet everyone!
