Hillsborough Community College Spring 2016 Applicants

Hi everyone!

I know it's a little early, but is anyone out there applying to HCC's Nursing program starting Spring 2016? I am, and I'm dying for this semester to be over so I can submit my app! Just wanted to start the discussion since no one else has!

OMG OMG OMG!!!! Everyone get excited. I emailed the department for an update and was told the the letters were sent out yesterday!!! YAY only to wait until tomorrow to stalk my mailman! I get my mail around 2:30-3 so if anyone gets theirs earlier please post on here if accepted, and what your GPA was.

I do not know where you heard about sending the status notification in October or November. However, the official letters informing students their status into the program were mailed out yesterday.

James I did see your message but I can not respond to it :( but as you can see I did get a hold of them. Hopefully you get yours before you leave.

Well at least you will have something to look forward to when you get home, and you will know roughly what GPA's got in. I think we only have like 2 weeks to accept and give them the $38 so hopefully you aren't gone that long.

I'll only be gone til Monday, so no not long. I have zero confidence in my GPA anyhow, I'll be lucky to get an alternate spot. Just going by past Spring threads.

Well stay confident. You never know, I have heard of people with as low as 3.2 getting in as an alternate. Also last spring class didn't have to take the TEAS, so that might help also.

Specializes in CNA so far.

I haven't applied yet to the program I will the summer of 16 I wish you all the luck because the real work as a nursing a student begins. I never see anyone post on here after they get into the program and finish so hopefully soon someone can start a nclex pass from HCC im curious to see the results of that.
