Hillsborough Community College Nursing Program Application Spring Semester 2023

Published

Hello my fellow nurse hopefuls, this topic is geared for the Nursing program in Spring 2023 at HCC. This is my first time applying for it so I am praying I get accepted. While going through last Spring’s  posts (for 2022), I learned some with a GPA of 3.33 were selected; I don’ know what was the cutoff. My prerequisites GPA is 3.47, total GPA is 3.72 and TEAS 73.3%…

I wish everyone good luck!

I was accepted! I received the email on Monday.  I sent the acceptance letter right away but did not received anything asking for specific campus. Orientation is October 24th.
The email said more emails would be sent on next several days with instructions.. I have been checking every day but nothing yet

That's amazing! Congratulations, I'm very happy for you! Do you know anything about the cutoff GPA? Once again, I'm very happy to hear that you were accepted!

Thank you and I do not know the GPA cut off. I do know that Fall semester is the hardest to get into than Spring.

Yes, I've heard that. It makes me nervous. I'm taking College Algebra and Government this semester and that should be it. May I ask what you calculates your GPA with? I keep getting different scores every time.

I use this link to calculate my prerequisites

let me know if it works

Thank you! So I'm currently taking College Algebra and Government and I'm aiming for an A in both. If I finish with an A and if I calculated it right I should have a 3.48. Did you put in all your prerequisites within the same semester and then calculate it all? Or did you put in your prerequisite grades throughout different semesters? I get a different GPA depending on which way I did it.

Did you have to get Covid vaccine for the clinics?

I am being told the State banned it from being a requirement but I also hear the HCC is saying the Clinics requiring it.

I am confused.

Does anyone know the cut off GPA for Spring 2024?
