  1. I use this link to calculate my prerequisites https://hccfl.uloop.com/GPA-calculator let me know if it works
  2. Thank you and I do not know the GPA cut off. I do know that Fall semester is the hardest to get into than Spring.
  3. I was accepted! I received the email on Monday. I sent the acceptance letter right away but did not received anything asking for specific campus. Orientation is October 24th. The email said more emails would be sent on next several days with instructions.. I have been checking every day but nothing yet
  4. On the HCC app go to admission and registration/required transcripts and documents. Once you sign in you will see the documents you already have in there. Your high school transcripts should be there (I’m attaching a pic of mine so you see what to look for and a pic of my nursing application already “received”.) if your high school transcripts are showing under your documents you do not need to have them resent. You are welcome, I’m glad I could be of help ?
  5. I did print the application and filled it out manually (all 5 pages,) then scanned it along with the TEAS results and application receipt. I screen shot the receipt, saved it to my phone files then turned it into a pdf from a JPEG. They want everything sent together as a packet on pdf format. I scanned everything from my printer to my computer as one packet of 11 pages. I did fill out the Dale Mabry application not sure if South shore has its own. I don’t know what the cut off was for Spring semester but last one, some of the girls got it with a 3.3. About the high school transfers. Since I am a current HCC student, I didn’t have to because they had them since 2019. If you are not a HCC student, register first online with HCC to be a student then go to your high school website and request them to be transferred; they do this relatively quickly. It all has to be done online/electronically and directly from your high school to [email protected] as photocopies of them are considered unofficial by HCC. So, make sure you register with HCC (if you are not a student) make sure all prerequisites are done before deadline for Fall program (May 15th), Nursing application (100% filled out), TEAS results and receipts are sent as a packet on PDF format before the deadline. High school Transcripts request made (My high school sent me an email letting me know when they had been sent) and a couple of day later they showed up under my documents section as “received.” And I appreciate you asking questions, I don’t mind answering and making this less scary.
  6. So, I also saw the post from Spring 2022 applicants but didn’t see anywhere on the application about ranking the cohorts. I am thinking as soon as they send the email that one has been selected, we get the choice to rank the cohorts. And the application process is very simple, just make sure all the items on the application checklist are fulfilled. I double checked everything and had it submitted a month an half in advance. As of August 15th, everything showed as received. If I can do this, so can you, so just make sure you send everyone they need
  7. Oh, I did apply for the august 15th deadline (I guess I wasn’t cleared on my post) which is for the 2023 Spring program. The school sent me an email acknowledging having received all the paperwork. I think the next deadline is May 15th for 2023 Fall program.
  8. Hello my fellow nurse hopefuls, this topic is geared for the Nursing program in Spring 2023 at HCC. This is my first time applying for it so I am praying I get accepted. While going through last Spring’s posts (for 2022), I learned some with a GPA of 3.33 were selected; I don’ know what was the cutoff. My prerequisites GPA is 3.47, total GPA is 3.72 and TEAS 73.3%… I wish everyone good luck!
