HESI ADMISSION ASSESSMENT EXAM

EXAM WILL BE GIVEN AUGUST 24TH, FRIDAY AT 1000 IN THE TECHNOLOGY BUILDING

ROOM 409 AND 411. WE WILL MEET FOR CLASS FROM 0900 UNTIL 0945. THE HESI EXAM IS NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN STUDY FOR. IT WILL TEST YOUR

KNOWLEDGE BUILT UP THUS FAR.

GOAL: TO ASSESS NURSING STUDENTS' BASIC LEARNING SKILLS AND GAUGE FUTURE

In our orientation packet was a form to order name badges. I believe we will need that and our hcc I'd when we are at hospital, and they must be displayed. So one of those holders is best.

I hope not, I won't be able to get mine until next Saturday! I'm also not wearing the jacket because I havent found one yet. I'll do that next weekend too!

My understanding is that we only need our name badges, which are pins, and not our HCC IDs. However, I could be mistaken. Since we're not in the hospitals yet, they will probably have more specifics the first day.

Just FYI, I ordered a wine jacket thru Discount Uniforms in Tampa ($17.99). Not sure if its optional or required first day. I've been told that the hospitals feel cool initially, but once we start moving around the floors, we'll probably want to take off the jacket.

Its the last free weekend, every one excited? It has been a long, often frustrating, road to get here, but our wait is nearly over.Good luck, study hard!!
