HI, new grad from MCC Omaha, NE. NCLEX IN 3 DAYS

Whats up I have been a longtime lurker on this site. Atm I am very excited and 3 days out..also nervous because our program has a 100% pass rate for the past 5 years and i dont want to be the one to break that lol.

A little history I have been through a lot. I wasted almost 3 years being scammed at 2 schools called Kaplan University and ITT Technical institute Breckinridge school of nursing. After that I left there and had to take every prerequisite all over again in 2014 because no credits would transfer during those wasted 3 years of my life. I perservered and got accepted into MCC's nursing program first try.

Going fundamentals of nursing for the third time and going to clinicals for 3 years compared to all my scared classmates was frustrating and interesting at the same time. I was deciding to whether be the guy that knows everything and seemed smart or just let everything out. Because would these instructors do me dirty like what happened at the othed schools?

I just told the truth and from experience, i learned u have to brown nose the instructors a little. My whole experience with MCC has been great. All the instructors want to help. I am now accepted into the RN PROGRAM this fall and graduate next may and i take my LPN boards in 3 days. The board of nursing said they would post my liscense within 24 hrs. The nclex is on monday and my job orientation is wednesday. I hope i can start as a nurse already. I am very excited and nervous. Please pray for me and i will as well for all the future nurses and nurses.

Finally the day before the nclex! I have been using uworld for the past 2 weeks scored 56% on the second assessment and 46% on the first assessment which gave me a very likely chance of passing. Today im going to the water park with my gf then go home and review my lab flash cards

85 questions in about an hour

Overall I feel ok about it. My BON said they post it in 24 Hrs. It was a mix, very hard questions then very easy questions.

I was hoping I wasn't going too fast. I was so absolutely sure so I moved into the next question. I was planning to take a break at 85, which is the minimum for pn, only if it moved me onto 86. I took a deep breath then it shut off at 85.

After all I gone through I pray to God I passed.

I have always seen people ask how accurate is the PVT trick? So now I'm asking again currently as of 2017 how accurate is the PVT trick? Lol

Also I stumbled upon this forum about uworld and finished the entire bank once, and read every rationale. I missed about 400 and redid all of those. I studied uworld exclusively for about a week and a half, let's see if its worth all the hype.

They finally posted my license this morning!!! I'm officially a nurse!

PVT and uworld worked for me!! Next up is RN in about 10 months eeeek.

So I just got my license but why does it say it expires in 3 months? 10/12/2017. I am planning on getting a hold of my BON. But does anybody know?

Usually, ALL licenses in a state expire at the same time. You just got unlucky on the calendar cycle.
