Hi! I have found this site doing research for my Nursing Informatics class. I am a first quarter nursing student. I have been in school for about 3 years. I started out in Computer Programing classes. I hated it. I was praying one day after getting a "C" in one of my classes. I was asking God to guide me because I relized the computer programing thing was not for me, and one of those save the children type things came on the tv. It was called operation blessing. I thought... ok God , if you say so. I called and changed my major right then and there sniffling through the whole thing! I actually was going into the computer stuff hoping to learn about computers. I didn't even know how to e-mail at that time. Now that is about all I'm really ok with. This is the first time I have ever posted anything.

I have one question for all of you nurses out there... Is it worth it? I haven't slep a whole night since this quarter started. My instructors are, well, not the most approachable people, and my family wonders where I am all the time. Is this normal? I had no idea what I was getting into. I feel like I'm in boot camp!! ( no disrespect to anyone who went to REAL bootcamp) Any advise? (I guess that was more than one question)

Thanks

missa
