I am planning on joining next year. This year I only joined my schools nursing association. Next year I would love to go to the conference either in November or the spring which ever my school sponsers. Alot of the upper classman went and they had a good time and practiced the NCLEX.

I am on the junior executive board of our local NSA. This is my first experience with the organization. It's a great way to get involved. We raise funds for charities and advance the profession through taking a proactive stance in the politics of nursing. Why not get your feet wet?

Yes, I too am a member of NSNA....our school paid for our memberships along with our memberships to TNSA (Texas Nursing Student's Association).....we are working on fundraising to go to Student Nurse's Day on the Capital in Austin....is a lot of work but a lot of fun, too. It's a good experience and is actually helping me feel more comfortable directing people & talking in front of crowds (new President of school's TNSA, have to be MC of pinning ceremony, ect). If you are interested go ahead and join!
