Good luck. Have you tried Galen Institute? Do a search. Welcome!

If you're willing to drive 1-1/2 hours to Orlando, check out Orlando Tech. I have been told that they are accepting students for the next class that starts in August. As long as your paperwork is done in time and your entrance scores are acceptable, you're in....no waiting list. Here's their link:

I would do an online search for lpn in your area try searching under tech schools or just search lpn schools and your city and state on google you should find other schools. Well good luck in your search.

If you look on the florida board of nursing web site, they have a list of all ADN and LPN programs in FL. I saw Brewster Technical Center, Erwin Technical Center, Galen Institute, Gulf Coast College, Keiser, Pinellas County Tech, Tampa Bay Technical High School, all have Practical Nursing programs.....looks like u have lots of options!

I applied for Erwin. I went for the orientation and met with some LPN students. I asked if they waited long and they said no. In the orientation they also stated that is a lottery but you are guarantee to get in. You should definetely apply for it. Is a great school. I will be told in mid June when will I be starting. I'm hoping in August but if not it will be January. That is fine with me because I can continue working as a CNA and save some money. Good luck!

Erwin is one of the best LPN programs there is. I might be biased tho......graduated from there in 1994 :)
Good luck.
I'm so happy! I just got in for Erwin for August. I'm excited and so nervous at the same time. I didn't think it was going to be so soon. I applied in March and yesterday I received a post card informing me that I will be entering the LPN program in August. Yuuupppeeee!!!!
