I am in need of planning my classes better at HFCC since I don't want to take classes that won't transfer. Has anyone gotten their ADN from HFCC then the BSN at OU? What classes can you take that will fulfill their requirements? It seems things are a little different than what they say in the transfer guide since I found out that you can take just about any history class not just the ones they specify. And, specifically, does World Religions etc fulfill the PHL requirement?
The community college transfer credit limit for School of Nursing students is 63 credits. Students may transfer applicable community college credits at any time during their course of study. Additional credit may be transferred from regionally accredited four-year institutions. At least 32 nursing credits must be earned at Oakland University. (Transfer students must have a total of 125 credits, including transfer credits, to graduate.) RN/BSN applicants must have attained a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 to be considered for admission. Students should contact the SON advising office for transfer information at (248) 370-4253.
