hey..what do you think?

hey yall. ok please tell me if this sounds bad. i was talking to this girl in my anthropology class as the class was ending and my teacher was listening to our convo. she then was like "i heard you last week talking about how you got an interview with UT." and i was like yeahh blah blah told her about it and how i have to wait til april to find out. anyway, she was like "so is that where you wanna go?" and i was like "well i really wanna go to TWU but i would love to go to UT." then i was like "i also applied to UTMB which is in galveston, and i mean i'll go there if i get accepted but im not too crazy about living in galveston." ok so my question is..do i sound bad saying that? like saying yeah id rather go here there blah blah..? i don't want the teacher to think i'm rude and picky or anything :uhoh21: b/c i will really be so freakin excited if i get into any of the schools i applied to. anyway, what do you think? am i just being dumb here for worrying about this? ugh, all this waiting is going to my head and making me worry too much about everything :uhoh3:

Nope. You want what you want.

I applied to Duke, UNC, and Stony Brook. I really wanted Duke, but would have taken either of the others. Duke answered first so I've taken it.

When people would ask me where i applied, I'd tell them the truth. If they asked me where I really wanted to go, I told them Duke, then Stony Brook, then UNC - even though if push came to shove, I'd really take any of the three.

There's nothing wrong with wanting what you want.

Don't worry about it. Not every place is best suited for everyone.

If the teacher who overheard you doesn't work at one of the schools you applied to, you're fine. If she does, however, she may be part of the grapevine.

Besides, why would your anthropology teacher even care unless she's just trying to get to know her students better?!
