Depending on your state you don't even need to take the class for Pharmacy Tech if they don't require it for licensure. I just did self study for pharmacy tech (bought a textbook and a PTCB study guide and studied on my own) and took the PTCB exam on my own and was able to be registered/licensed. Finding a job hasn't been to difficult going that path, either.

I'm a prenursing student, about to take his HESI next month. I've been studying for this since September so I'm confident I'll get in (3.9gpa too).
I'm currently working part time as a Hospital Service Tech at a hospital in the city but I want to expand my horizons so I'm thinking about taking a quick 6 week Pharm Tech or EKG+Phleb course and get certified while I take my Nursing program courses at my uni. What do you guys think?
