HESI vs TEAS

Published

Hi there! Due in part to what I've been reading in these (very helpful!) forums, I've decided to wait on starting an LPN program until (hopefully) next August. The program I had signed up for was for-profit, and I found another program at less than one-third the cost that will still work for my family (and is ACEN-accredited with matriculation agreements for all of the state/CC nursing programs in the state to finish an ADN or BSN - very important!).

It will mean starting work as an LPN ten months later, but I think that it will be well worth the wait.

The program I want to enter is competitive, and I want to kick bum on the TEAS to help make sure my points are high. Is there anyone who can tell me how difficult the TEAS is compared to the HESI? I did well on the HESI for the other program (96% combined score), but I've seen people say that the TEAS is tougher.

And does anyone have a prep book/program/website they're recommend to get ready for the TEAS?

Thank you all so much!

Apologies, I do see that this is a common question. And it looks like I'll have my work cut out for me studying for the TEAS exam. I would still love to hear any study material suggestions. Thank you very much! :)

I wish I studied chemistry more that's most of the science portion of the test! Good luck
