HESI and TEAS exams?

Hi, Im applying to two different nursing schools, and I have to take both the HESI and the TEAS. I'm applying to the other program because I doubt I'll get into the one at the school Im at right now, but I think I have a better chance of getting into the other one. The school I'm at requires the HESI and the other school requires the TEAS. I'll probably have to take the tests in August or so. Do I need to start preparing now? Do any of the tests overlap in certain areas? Can you recommend study guides and give me tips? Thanks!

From what I've understood they might be slightly similar in subject matter, but I've heard that the TEAS test is more difficult than the HESI. Though, that's just what I've heard. I've not taken either test(full, I've taken a shorter HESI test), so I cannot give you an accurate idea. However, there are two boards on here that might be able to shed more like. There's a HESI Entrance Test board and a TEAS help board.
