hey everyone!!
ok so i'm wondering if anyone can give me any kind of information about the hesi. i'm taking it in georgia.. is it a test administered on the computer, is each section timed?? any information would help.... the school that i'm taking it for really doesn't provide that much information.. i'm seriously stressing about this test...
help!!!
Hey guys! Well I just got back from taking the HESI.. and it went surprisingly well.. it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. The book did help, the anatomy questions weren't as intensive as I thought they would be. For the math section, the questions were pretty simple, at the place I took it, we got to use scratch paper, and there was a built in very simple calculator.. which was helpful. There were a lot of ratio-proportion questions so I would study that. The chemistry wasn't very bad.. just brush up on your general chemistry.. The anatomy was alright.. it wasn't too bad.. if you go with the book you should be fine.. Let me know how you do blessed.. good luck to you. :)
Well done -- well done !!!!! did you get your results? I am happy you did well. Thanks for the info. mine is a week from now, i am studying every chance i get, was there any chemical equations stuff, and valence electrons as well as calculating moles etc for chem and what about math was there conversion from metric to english? pleses advise.
congrats to you!!!!!!:yeah:

Thanks again
Does anyone know if there is a list or anything of schools that require the Hesi A2? I currently live in Missouri but will be applying to nursing schools in Georgia which require the Hesi and trying to find somewhere in MO to take it by the end of the year. Any help would be very much appreciated.
I've been speaking with one of the advisors in their nursing department and she thought the school would be able to coordinate it where I could take before getting to school there but when I called the testing center as she suggested they said I could take it and have my results sent to them but didn't have any idea of where exactly I would be able to take it and suggested checking schools in my area. Unfortunately it looks like most of the schools in KC are using the TEAS.

The TEAS is completely different than the HESI or NET. It's a college readiness test (Test of Essestial Academic Skills). Many community colleges use it for their Health Care Programs (obviously, health care programs are rigorous and they want to make sure you have what it takes to be a 'college student with a health care major').
If you have a prior Bachelor's Degree, for instance, you do not have to take the TEAS (at least where I am going to nursing school).
There are different types of the HESI, from what I understand. My school uses the HESI Entrance Exam (instead of the NET). I have the study guide and it doesn't look bad at all (I say that now!). After reading this thread, I am going to find out if my school uses the HESI at intervals (as sort of a 'weeding out' process). I hope this helps! There's so much to consider.

hi desikudu1313!!!!
are you ready, is it today? I know you will do well enough, praying for you.
From what Others say there should'nt be too much anatomy on it, i am worried about the chemistr and maths parts. jUST BRUSH UP QUICKLY ON THE ANATOMY AND BIOLOGY SECTIONS. god will help you, answer all the questions, do not leave any blanks. do your best on the strongest sections and they will cover the weak areas.!!!!!!!!
Awaiting the good news:bowingpur:yeah:
