I'm studying with the evolve reach : admission assessment exam review.
here is the study guide link.. http://portals2.elsevier.com/portal/HESI
I mean our school had this link so I am assuming this is the study guide we had to use because the other study guides on this site are not for the HESI test.. the rest are for the NCLEX.
Thanks for the reply, I think that is the one i purchased , so I already have it . When are you taking yours, i am still awaiting a date for mine. Know what? I think it is the basics , but sometime we forget them because there is so much anticipation ,frustration and pressure to compete with others. I am exhausted from seeking information on this hesitest, no one else seem to have any ideas to share. I wonder if this is a relatively new test? but, let keep each other posted,
Thanks again
I'm taking mine tomorrow at 6 pm.. so I'll let you know how it goes.. I'm really freaking out here.. because the majority of the Anatomy is stuff from Anatomy II and I haven't had that class yet.. so I'm trying to learn so much information in such a short amount of time. .. let's hope I do well.
Don't stress over it! I took it Monday night and it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. I also studied from the HESI review book which helped a lot. The math, grammer, vocabulary, and reading comprehension sections were not hard. I had a little trouble with the Biology and A&P part so I suggest reviewing that A LOT. Chemistry was not too bad. It is a computer based test so you recieve your score as soon as you click submit, which is a little nerve racking!! Physics is not included on it, I am not sure why it is in the study book! Does anyone know if it is the same test at every school? GOOD LUCK!
mmwarrin, thankyou for the info. and congratulations too. hmmm-- could you please let me know what the topics that wrer covered in chemistrt on the test as well as anatomy and maths. I hope i'm not asking you to do too much. Thanks to you!! Mine will be in a week time, i really have to do exceptionally well in order to keep my slot in the program. so thanks again.
chemistry questions had a few simple problems like adding masses of chemicals and it had some about different reactions. Anatomy was a lot about specific different parts of the body and their function or where they are located such as where is the pituitary gland located? The math was a lot of adding and subtracting of fractions as well as solving x in proportions.. hope this helps!
