hesi exit exam study books ?

IMO that book is horrible. It's mostly a review book, things you can look up on your own in your text books.

I just took a HESI exam and did just fine by using Davis (Med-Surg Success) and Saunders.

Unlike anon, it really helped me. Mainly b/c it focuses on what is actually on the test as opposed to a broad spectrum. (Though there is a physics section that thankfully was NOT on our HESI.) Matter of fact, a few of my questions were straight from that study guide. Good Luck!

thanks for your response appreciate it

Its required for our second year nursing classes. I just ordered it yesterday so i haven't gotten it yet but it got great reviews on Amazon.com.

Well in my opinion the book is "ok"... It's just a big review book. But ALSO in my opinion the HESI is harder than the freaking NCLEX. I took the HESI several times (yes I said several) then eventually passed. Then I took the NCLEX ONCE and passed!!! Like I tell everybody else, don't let that test define how smart you really are... Good Luck!

I've only taken one HESI so far, the exit exam for Fundamentals. It was intense but I did well on it. Best in the class and several people failed it. I'm not sure when our next HESI is...

Oh yeah I forgot a lot of programs take a different hesi as entrance exams for nursing programs. I was referring about the comprehensive hesi that you take as a graduate exit exam that some nursing programs require to pass to graduate from the program.
