Hesi Exam for RN entrance exam

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hi everyone. I just took the entrance hesi exam for RN(community college) in the beginning of January. I scored an 87% the first round, and was able to take it again to see if I could raise my score. Second time around, I got a 92%. Yippie!! I must say, I knew I was going to take this test for months, so I studied quiet a bit. The test consisted of math, biology, chemistry, a&p, reading and comprehension, vocabulary. Math was fractions and percentages. Biology is pretty basic but make sure you know about mitosis/mieosis. Chemistry, make sure you study up on. That was the part I didn't do so good. Know your periodic table (the important ones). You can't really study for the reading comprehension, so I would leave that behind. I do suggest that you do that first on the test though, cause your brain is fried by the end of the test. I couldn't even concentrate on the reading part. Study the hesi study guide, its pretty much right on key with the test. If you are not going into radiology, you shouldn't have to know the physics part. I would check with the school though. You all should be fine:yeah:Good luck.

Good job!!!! Thanks for the info. I will (hopefully) take the HESI at the end of this year. I've got a study book, and I have already begun looking through it. Congrats again!
