I just took my HESI A2 exam today. I did great in each section except the vocabulary as expected :/ my scores were Math 96% Grammer 90% Reading 88% and Vocab 70% . Is this bad for me? My overall score was an 86%. Not sure if I still have a chance with my vocabulary score. I can't do a retake because I am applying in June for next spring semester. What do you all think about this? I'm really nervous, I'm applying for UTA nursing school.

Unfortunately it all depends on how your school ranks candidates and how competitive admissions are. My school would not accept those scores for entrance because the vocab is below their minimum of 80%. There's not much you can do though if you don't have time for a retake before the deadline, so I would submit it and hope for the best.
OP, when you say UTA do you mean University of Texas Arlington? If so, it looks like they unfortunately require a 75% in all sections to apply.

Yeah, I'm seeing that all over :/ going to talk to my advisor to see what she recommends. Does not seem like many options for this situation.

Hello! took the hesi a few weeks ago, I got a 92 on the vocab section. I promise , it was a walk in the park!
As long as you use the hesi practice book and even try quizlet, you'll be fine!
Good luck!

This was kind of a douche move considering the topic of this thread.
Thank you sir for your unnecessary comment but if you read the comment before mine, she asked for input on whether it was hard or not .

I got the same overall score of 86% as well and was accepted into my program. My program was more interested on what GPA we had and if we had most (or all) of the required prerequisites completed. I hope this helps, good luck to you!
