HESI exam A2 admissions test !

Hi All,

I will take HESI exam A2 admissions test next month, and it is the first time for me. I tried to find some on-line practice problems but I couldn't find them easily. Do you have any information on that?

The reading comp is: 1. Very clear not confusing at all

2. Very short paragraph

3. Even if English is my 2nd Language, I didn't have to re read it too much because it was

very descriptive.

4. The main idea was at the begining most of it.

One thing I have to tale u is study straight from evolve study guide and do all the practice test. You should be fine. I was very stressed before z exam about that too but, I find it very simple.

Hurrlybaby, I don't want to mislead u. I heared that each state and each school have their own kind of HESI A2 exam and please do some search.

Hopeful, you are so nice, I just wanted to get an idea of what and how is going to be. I know that it might be different but the idea stays the same in most cases. I appreciate the time you took to give me such a clear answer. I did study from the Evolve Study Guide, and I am getting ready to go and get it. I will let you know how I did in the exam. I take the HESI A2 on the 4th, I am nervous as well!! All of this information is very helpful, Thank you soo much! I have been studding the Evolve Guide and made some flash cards for the conversions and Vocab. When I take it I will report more back. Thanks again, and Good Luck!

don't stress about the vocab actually all hesi a2 test is not very hard at all.

let me try to answer your ?????

1. you have to know all z medical term on z evolve book beccause u don't know which one they ask. i am sure it was many ??? from z book too but don't depend on z evolve book only. try to study from net, teah or other pratice test on vocab. quizet.com is great to study. i used it a lot. no synonym or antonym but i don't mislead u because each state or each school can give different hesi a2 exam. yes many difinition ???? eg. select the meaning of underling word in the sentene??? it is hard for me to tale u exactly what the word was. don't worry if i can manange to get above 90% u do fine. just study and memorize the evolve medical term in addition to practice over different voab from different place.

2. yes z book means the same evolve book, it is a great book for math, reading, grammer and most vocab.

3. no u can't go back to previous ????

4. for grammer??? u just have to read from evolve book everything and do the practice test, pat attention for eg. lie vs. lay all those look alike sound alike word. if u study from z book & english is your 1st language, u will do good.

5. math, vocab, grammer has each 50??? reading comp, i think 30-34??? a&p 25???

a&p is only 25?? that is why u have fo focuse on that because if u miss more 1?? 4 point off.

I don't remember about medicall abbreviations :confused: but I remember exactly there are no medication name, drug name, remember we are not a nurse yet we are trying to be a nurse:) and there are no prefixes/suffixes.

Yes there are many general english question too.

Ava82, don't analyze too much what z test would be, just practice and memorize those word :) I am very sure u will be fine especally if English is your 1st language.

the passage is both about medical stuff and general topics. i find it very simple, just take your time to answere it. they give you plenty of time about 5 hr so use your time. i finished the 5 exam about 3 and half hour.

The passage is both about medical stuff and general topics. I find it very simple, just take your time to answere it. They give you plenty of time about 5 hr so use your time. I finished the 5 exam about 3 and half hour.
