HESI Entrance Exam

Published

Hey all :) I am taking the HESI entrance exam for the second time this Monday on the 27th for Edison State College. I was just wondering if anyone had any study tips they used? I got a 77% on my first time and I didn't study a whole lot, just have to brush up on my Anatomy and Physiology. If anyone could help that would be amazing! Thank you!

Have you already looked over those Nursing School Entrance Exam books??

I have the HESI study book, but I just really need help on the A&P part and alot of people told be that the book isnt good for that portion of the test.

I'm taking the Hesi for the second time to retake the vocab and math sections. I'm going to make flash cards for the conversions and math and the vocab words listed in the Hesi study book and just memorize them. All the other sections I did well on (over an 80%). But for the Anatomy section my test happened to ask me mostly questions I knew, so I guess I lucked out there. My advice to you would be too study the general anatomy...like organs, the body systems from an anatomy textbook (the hesi book isn't very good for the anatomy section to study from). Have you already taken anatomy? If so that helps too!

Yes I have taken Anatomy but I took it at a school that only offered it online so it was good for my grade but I ended up learning nothing! Good luck to you on your test and I greatly appreciate the feedback! :)

Took the HESI last year...90. The best study guide I used was from a website call ...Mometrix. Good Luck !

Thanks so much i'll check it out :)
