HI everyone, I took the hesi A2 3 weeks ago and im rescheduled to retake it in a few days. In the math section, in some of the questions, they asked you to enter just the numerical value. Can someone pls explain to me what they actually mean by that. lets say for exple if my answer after calculation is a decimal number. thanks for your help.:)

To my recollection, to enter the numerical value just means typing in the number(s), so don't add the units of measurement or any letters at all. If you do the math and get say 3.6 on the calculator, type in that number exactly as you see it. If they say round to a certain amount of digits, then type in that amount. It is pretty straight forward.

The decimal is part of the number. If your calculation comes out 0.25, they certainly want to know if you did that right, as opposed to 2.5 or 25. They don't need the units, like oz or ml.
