Hesi A2 entrance exam

I am taking the Hesi A2 next month to get into Brookhaven's 2 year nursing program.

I am studying from the Hesi A2 study guide.

For those of you who have taken the test, and used the guide you will know exactly what I am talking about here.

The guide says the cell....review the cell.

Tissues: It states the four basic tissues, and says review tissues.

Well as you all know ...tissues for example have many sub catagories for each tissue etc.

How indepth do I need to go here. I don't want to waste my time memorizing stuff to deeply if I don't need to. I am a perfectionist and tend to go over board on this sort of thing. Also do I need to worry about identifying things. In other words do they show you pictures and say whats this etc or is it just text.

Any info or advice you could give would be so so so helpful and appreciated. I will send a Thank you to anyone who responds.

You don't have to go that in depth at all. Believe me. Just review the basics and you will do fine. I studied the study guide almost exclusively and I got a 94. It had even been five years since I had A and P II! Don't sweat it.
