Hello ,
I am taking the HESI entrance exam next week for the first time and am looking for some advice from those who have taken and passed the exam. I have not taken Chemistry or biology in college, only in high school. I was wondering what you studied to prep for the exam. I have exclusively studied from the elsevier edition 3 exam review book.
any tips or advice ?
can email if you prefer

I took it about 2 weeks ago and used the hesi 3rd edition book along with quizlet. I made an 84% on it. The book prepared me well for math, english, and vocabulary. I passed those sections with above 90%. It didn't prepare me for science. I passed A&P with an 88 and I pretty much knew a lot of that information from work and A & P class these last 2 semesters. I haven't taken biology and chemistry in 10 years and those where my worse sections. I pretty much guessed those sections. Math is straight conversions, fractions, and percentages. I may have missed maybe one question on math. Practice those questions over and over again. Study quizlet and book for vocab. Chemistry was a blurr.
