Hesi A2 applying for UT Houston

I read some threads on here that some of you guys don't have to take the biology and chemistry section on the Hesi A2 exam? I just took it today, and I had both of them. I did an ok scored on everything except the vocabulary and general knowledge. I made a 66% on that. THe other scores were high. The only section that brought my score down was that one plus english and chemistry. Its been 3 years since I took those. My prereq gpa is 3.9 something though. Can we take the exam again but just on the section where I made a low grade. I was just buzzing through finish test in 2 hours 30 min. I didn't have enough sleep the previous night. My overall score is 80%. Should I retake it again? The deadline is september 1. I was wondering since I took this one before the deadline. Can I take the other one anytime as long as its before the spring semester start?

I think you can take it twice before the deadline, but they have to be atleast 30-60 days apart...not too sure.

Hi I am getting ready to retake the Hesi for UT do they give u a option to select version 2....

I think when you email them you put on their V2...or something like that. My friend took it twice for the Spring 2011 process and I believe that's what she had to do. Hope that Helps and Good Luck!

I've heard that the Hesi is supposed to be harder the 2nd time around. Does anyone know if that's true?

Hey, what did you guys use to prepare for the A&P section? I'm preparing now for HESI A2 now.
