Herzing University Online Direct Entry MSN Program

Hello. I was recently admitted into Herzing University's online direct entry Master's in Nursing program. I was wondering if anyone else has been admitted into the program? Also, can any current or former Herzing students share their experience with the nursing program? How are the distance education classes and how supportive are the faculty/staff? I am trying to decide if I will attend or enroll in a community college/state school program. Thanks for your time.

No, I didn't start the program because I find this program to be fishy and with $50k in fees, I can't do it online.

I am considering applying for the May 2024 semester. If you don't mind sharing, what are the reasons you decided against the starting the program at Herzing? Have you started a different program or are interested in a different program ?

I feel the same way. I wish the advisors shared more about the programs details. I would love to get my hands on a syllabus. Are you still looking into MSN-DE programs?

I haven't been able to find a DE program that makes sense. In order to get out of the program what I want, it needs to be an in-person program, and I haven't been able to find one near me.

I am too. Did you take the TEAS yet? I take it in April. I was told ill find out more after I am admitted.

I am fixing to start the MSN Direct Entry program on 10/28/24 at Herzing. Virtually, everything is done for admission. I just got to take the TEAS and meet with financial aid. I would be lying if I say I don't have some reservations given that this program is entirely online - notwithstanding clinicals. However, the very nature of the program is for people like me with a bachelor's degree in a non-nursing field. Instead of doing the Accelerated BSN, I thought why not do the MSN instead given my intent to go further in the field. Any thoughts, recommendations, critiques... anyone currently in the program that would like to shed some light? Anyone else starting on 10/28/24?

Any update on how it is going? I am interested in applying but the fixed reviews scare me. I am also not a fan of the intensives
