  1. I totally agree. What is meant to be will be. But I believe this is meant for you. Just a very slow process. I seen many others go through this and the same thing happen. Have you tried Southern crescent, or Middle Georgia State college? I don't know how far you live though. But I do understand how frustrating this can be. I am already stressed from waiting and it has not even been a month yet so I can only imagine you. But finish those classes strong and you got this. Like you said if it is meant for you, you will get it. I called the other two schools and I have info if you want to message me about them.
  2. Yes, they said around then. But when I was checking last cohort was around the end of July. I don't want to wait that long. 😫 Hopefully in two weeks. Did you calculate your score?
  3. @Nia20 @EC8 @Kbaby8507 @Amanda L Jones Hey lovelies, Just wondering how school is going? What days you are meeting? What study materials or things really helped you? How many did they end up accepting? Trying to see what all to look forward to. Maybe I can pick your brains if any of you have any time. Thank you for your time.
  4. @Nurse Tati @Melissa G @Sammie Kakes Hi, Just wondering how many days a week is the school? I have to work full time and cannot seem to get a straight answer. Did it really end up being once a week or twice a week? Thank you for taking the time for your answer.
  5. Hello, I created this forum for individuals who have applied to Albany State University Spring 2027 programs. Whether it is the HCP to RN bridge, Hybrid, or Evening. The deadline is November 1 and I am sure we are all waiting on our acceptance letter/email. I can't wait to hear everyone's story.
  6. You are so right! But you getting in I don't care what they say. LOL But I am an ophthalmic technician. I work with the eyes. I love it but there is no growth and I am ready to move to a field where there is endless growth and potential. I wanted to do this for so long. And I know Im not a traditional student either.
  7. Yes! Thank you! I beat that test up! I studied so hard I thought I was going crazy! Yes!! You will be just fine!! You got this! I hope I get in. I need to get in. I want to grow at my job. I am burnout where I am because there is no growth. This is pretty much the only place left for me. But I hope you hear something really soon. But don't stress too much. The application just closed.
  8. Hello everyone. I'm starting this topic for everyone applying to Southern crescent for the Fall of 2026 and waiting for the acceptance letters. Let's see where we all stand and help each other get through this waiting game.
  9. You got this! You will be just fine. Just got to wait for that email. I don't know how they calculate the GPA, but some of my courses are expired. If they don't count the expired I have a 4.0 GPA if they do count the expired I have a 3.4 GPA and 96 TEAS. We got this girl! See you on campus! Start planning. Let me know!
  10. I know! The waiting game is about to kill me. The hybrid one opened on June 2 and doesnt close until Nov 1 so I have a long way to go. So I'm just sitting here waiting. I check weekly to see if anyone made a group for the Spring 2027 before I make one. I'll probably wait to make one in August just to see where everyone is at. Then I saw yours and had to update you because I know how the waiting game is. I can keep you company until then. What's your stats? And where are you commuting from? I'm coming from south of Atlanta.
  11. Hi, Do you know if the traditional ADN program is one day a week also?
  12. How did you all like the program? Was it hard? Did everyone make it through and are nurses now? I'm applying for Spring 2026 and commuting from Locust Grove. I work full time too, so can't quit that. Love to hear some stories if this thread is still alive.
  13. Hi. I applied to the Spring ASN hybrid program and their deadline is Nov 1. I saw online when I applied that they extended the deadline for all Fall 2026 programs to June 15. So you might not hear anything for another 2 weeks to a month.
  14. @FutureNP96 Hello, I'm applying to the Spring 27 hybrid. I work full time right now and can't leave because they will be paying for school. But I will be traveling about 2 hours and 20 mins. I hope this is doable since it is one day a week. But would you recommend anything extra to purchase to help with studying? Simple nursing or naxlex? Also do you know how they look at old outdated course work, since I'm not a Spring chicken. I have English but that's over 10 years old and so is A&P 1&2. But I'm retaking a&p2. But I do have a higher math which is calculus 2 and that is an A in that class. And then I have a TEAS score of 96. I studied for over a month non stop for this. I was not playing with this test. I think I over studied. But I just wanted to make sure I had a chance. Thank you for any insight. I'm looking to change careers. I'm already in the medical field but want more growth. Also how are you liking the nursing field?
