  1. @FutureNP96 Hello, I'm applying to the Spring 27 hybrid. I work full time right now and can't leave because they will be paying for school. But I will be traveling about 2 hours and 20 mins. I hope this is doable since it is one day a week. But would you recommend anything extra to purchase to help with studying? Simple nursing or naxlex? Also do you know how they look at old outdated course work, since I'm not a Spring chicken. I have English but that's over 10 years old and so is A&P 1&2. But I'm retaking a&p2. But I do have a higher math which is calculus 2 and that is an A in that class. And then I have a TEAS score of 96. I studied for over a month non stop for this. I was not playing with this test. I think I over studied. But I just wanted to make sure I had a chance. Thank you for any insight. I'm looking to change careers. I'm already in the medical field but want more growth. Also how are you liking the nursing field?
  2. So if a course is over 10 years old and one is not. They are only going to use that one grade?
  3. Im applying to 2027 cohort. How are y'all liking the program so far? My stats. Even though I don't know how they are going to calculate my GPA. I only have one class that's not outdated. Calculus II and that is an A and TEAS score is 96. What would be my chances? My A&P I and II are outdated and so is my English class. Took that in 2012. LOL I am retaking A&P II as the chair of nursing told me to take it outside of nursing so it won't slow me down. So nervous. 😬 This is my only option in GA as I work full time at a hospital as a tech in ophthalmology. Applying to the hybrid program. I want some deets if you have any.
  4. What was your GPA? Trying to see how strict they are with it. If you don't mind me asking.
  5. Welp. Guess I can't do southern crescent. I work full time at the VA and I don't want to leave that job. I'll have to go to Chamberlain.
  6. Oh man. So working full time is not an option. Do they not offer night courses at all for nursing?
  7. I do have a question for the current students as well. How are classes for any full time workers. I work full time, but my job will let me off sometimes but not everyday. How is the schedule?
  8. Really! That's great! Because I didn't want to have to take it again. I took it for a different school and decided not to go to that one. I saw that they were saying they may not accept the HESI from other schools. This is awesome! Thank you!!
  9. Hey all. Congratulations on your acceptance and good luck to others. I have a question. I took the HESI in October and wanted to know if anyone knows if they will accept it. I am taking some pre reqs that I need for nursing. Already have a BS degree but want to change careers. Ready for this chance.
