Had an very uncomfortable night watching a mom and newborn withdraw. How does your hospital deal with this?

Wow. that sounds really frustrating. I agree. with elkpark and maybe those. MD's. comments need to be reviewed. with higher ups asvto why he felt that way. These are special babies. that need our help and advocacy. Yes. the moms can be tough, I always tried to help both but my priority was to try to make that baby more comfortable. morphine. protocol. As far as the mom I always try to help her too. but have found it especially helpful that if me, the pedi and OB. can talk about a plan. Yes it's ideal. but worth a try
